God News
These stories that you will read are not just good news, they’re God news.
I met a young girl Miliana and her mother at Harbor Village. We began to talk, and I asked Miliana if she had a Bible and she said, “My Bible is kind of hard to read.” So, I came back to church and asked Marcy if she had any extra Bibles. A few days later sitting on my desk was a beautiful bag and inside was a brand-new Gems bible with some added keepsakes. The mother came to church to pick it up and was excited to give her daughter this special gift. We are praying that this is a step for the mother to rebuild her relationship with the Lord as well.
As we were setting up for the We Care We Share Ministry- A father came all the way from Fennville. Even though we don’t start until 6:00pm. This father arrived at 5pm and waited patiently in the parking lot with his three boys to get the items he needed. He was very grateful for all that he received and he asked, “Will you be coming to Fennville?” This opened our eyes and showed us the needs are high.
At our We Care We Share ministry we had two moms come through and, in our conversation, I asked them "How did you hear about this?" they said social media (Facebook live). I said, "What was said on social media that you decide to come to a church you don't know anything about?" They both shared it was when you said you were looking for imperfect people not perfect people! They both said at the same time we are not perfect either.
