CHRISTMAS ADOPTION STORY - ANSWERED PRAYER
In December of last year, Providence partners were able to adopt an angel or angels for Christmas. I was informed from a sister in Christ about a mother who was having a hard month financially during the holidays. I asked if it would be okay to place her son (a 15-year-old) on the Christmas adoption list and we decided to add the mom without her knowing.
When the mother received the gifts, she was very appreciative.
I am sharing this God story because I believe you all need to know how much of a blessing you are.
I was recently told this week (February 20, 2026) by the same sister in Christ that this mother was struggling.
She sends this mother some encouraging words through Tic Toc every now and then but this time the words hit home for this mother.
This mother shared that she had a box she had gotten from Providence in December that she had in her room that still had a couple of small things in it that she was unaware of. At the very bottom of this box was a card that she missed back then. Fast forward to today she opened the card and inside it was $40.00 cash.
This mother shared they had literally just gotten change together earlier to get her son a pizza. She confessed she had no idea how they were going to have lunch or dinner for the next day and she found this Christmas card from the person who adopted them.
She couldn't believe it! How did she miss this, and it is two months later. This mother no longer had to stress, but she was able to go to the store to purchase some food for the family.
Who does this? God & Providence partners who obey and love Jesus so much that they "Feed His lambs/sheep".
My sister in Christ is living out her faith and this mother is watching. She invites her to church and to bible study all the time. One day this will happen because we know it's all in Gods timing.
She was told that I would be sharing her story and she said, “Good people need to know they are helping.”
Thank you, Providence, for loving & taking care of His sheep!
