you’re invited to dinner
We want to see connections and friendships flourish at Providence. And one way we think that happens is by sharing conversations while sharing meals together. In that spirit, we’d love to invite you to sign up for Table Talk this January.
What is Table Talk?
Table Talk is a monthly dinner group for the purpose of making connections and getting to know others in our church community beyond a Sunday morning. The idea is simple: 3-4 couples or individuals gather over a meal to get to know each other better. The group tries to meet 3-4 times over a few month period, taking turns to host once a month. Or alternately, you can choose to meet at a restaurant for one or all of your gatherings. We encourage you to keep it simple, have fun, and use the opportunity to get to know some new faces and deepen connections with some familiar faces.
Who is Table Talk for?
All adults! Even if you are a part of a Bible study or small group, we would love to see many people participate.
How will it work?
We’ll provide a couple options for you. You’ll use the check-box questions to help us in setting up the groups. We’ll do our best to organize the groups with these considerations. After sign-ups, we’ll send out the group info and then your group gets to decide when and where to meet. You’ll schedule your dinners (or brunches!) when it works for you.
