self denial
Complete the Outcome
Disciple Path is full of useful tools, but the point isn’t just to finish the work. The point is to complete the outcome. Every chapter has one specific goal. The outcome is the point because that’s when you’ll put Jesus’ teachings into practice. So don’t move on to the next chapter until you’ve completed the outcome!
The goal of chapter 3 is to practice self-denial in a specific and relevant way.
Did you specifically practice self-denial? How? What were the results?
What have you learned? How have you changed?
What would you want to communicate to someone else about self-denial as a disciple of Jesus? (Remember, the Disciple Path process is meant to help you disciple others as well.)
Before you move on to chapter 4, discuss the outcome with your discipler. When you agree that the outcome is complete, you’re ready to move on to the next chapter.
